Update your profile, preferences, and notifications.

Overview

Manage your Amie account settings including profile information, appearance, notifications, and connected accounts.

Accessing Settings

Open Settings in any of these ways:

  • Press ⌘+, (Mac) or Ctrl+, (Windows/Linux)
  • Click your avatar → Settings
  • Use Quick Menu (⌘+K) and type "settings"

Profile

Personal Information

Update your basic profile:

Timezone

Your timezone affects:

  • Event display times
  • AI Scheduling preferences
  • Meeting invitations

To change:

  1. Go to Settings → General
  2. Select your timezone
  3. Calendar updates automatically

Appearance

Theme

Choose your visual preference:

Press Alt+M to quickly toggle theme.

Date & Time Format

Notifications

Recording Notifications

Control alerts for meeting recordings:

  • Recording started/stopped
  • Processing complete
  • Notes ready to view

Calendar Reminders

Set default reminder times for events:

  • 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes before
  • 1 hour, 1 day before
  • Custom times

Email Preferences

Manage email communications:

  • Weekly summary emails
  • Feature announcements
  • Tips and tutorials

Connected Accounts

Managing Connections

View and manage all connected accounts:

  1. Go to Settings → Accounts
  2. See all connected services
  3. Add or remove accounts

Available Connections

Adding an Account

  1. Click Add account
  2. Select the service
  3. Complete OAuth authorization
  4. Configure sync settings

Removing an Account

  1. Find the account in list
  2. Click Disconnect
  3. Confirm removal

Note: Removing a calendar account removes associated events from Amie.

Authentication

Sign-In Method

Amie uses OAuth authentication:

  • Google Sign-In — Uses your Google account
  • Apple Sign-In — Uses your Apple ID

No separate Amie password exists.

Two-Factor Authentication

2FA is managed through your identity provider:

  • For Google: Enable in Google Account settings
  • For Apple: Enable in Apple ID settings

Session Management

Active sessions are managed through your OAuth provider.

Working Hours

Configure when you're available:

Setting Work Hours

  1. Go to Settings → Scheduling
  2. Set Preferred Times for each day
  3. Add multiple time blocks if needed

Work hours affect:

  • AI Scheduling availability
  • Scheduling links for external bookings
  • Focus time recommendations

Calendar Settings

Default Calendar

Set which calendar new events are created in:

  1. Go to Settings → Calendars
  2. Choose your default calendar
  3. New events use this calendar

Calendar Visibility

Toggle which calendars appear:

  1. Go to Settings → Calendars
  2. Enable/disable calendars
  3. Set colors for visual distinction

Scheduling Exclusions

Exclude calendars from availability:

  • Events on excluded calendars don't block scheduling
  • Useful for reference calendars

Data & Privacy

Export Data

Download your Amie data:

  1. Go to Settings → Account
  2. Click Export Data
  3. Download your data package

Delete Account

To permanently delete your account:

  1. Go to Settings → Account
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Confirm deletion

Warning: This action is irreversible. All data will be permanently deleted.
